I publish Walk Your Talk magazine, own Walk Your Talk Media, host the Singapore Leadership Development Congress and own SpeakerStation.asia an online directory of international speaking experts on aspects of Leadership. We source these articles through Walk Your Talk Media's magazine editorial team, our Singapore Leadership Development Congress participants and speakers, interviews through our WYT Productions arm and from members of our Walk Your Talk LeadersClub; leaders from around the world.

ALTERNATIVES
Why wouldn't you just find this information on the internet? Great question, and here are 3 answers:


1. some of it is not freely available on the internet, only WYT | LeadersClub subscribers will receive it


2. it's not worth your time to do that (divide your annual salary by 1680 to find your true hourly salary)

• Why 1680? Easy. There are 365 days in a year. 261 of these are weekdays. 10 of these weekdays are public holidays. 8 of these weekdays you will take off sick, and 4 you will take off for personal reasons, and 15 of these will see you on annual leave. That leaves us with 224 productive days for which you are being paid.
• Each day you are productive for 7.5 hours. This can be arrived at in a number of ways. For example: you are at work for 10 hours a day. Less 30 minutes for toilet breaks and 1 hour for lunch plus 1 hour of non-productive activity.
• So you are being paid for 7.5 productive hours per day times 224 days per year = 1680 hours.
• That means a person earning $100kpa is paid $59.50 per productive hour, while someone earning $200kpa is paid $119 per productive hour.
• Browsing through the internet looking for something you might not know you need or an idea that you haven't had, for one hour per week will cost a significant amount of money or productivity.
• For the $100kpa person, it's costing them $258 per month, and for the $200kpa person, that figure is $515 per month.
• P.S. want to earn more? be more productive...

Now although I may not know you yet, I do know that if you've read this far, then you're probably the sort of person who would invest $515 on something worth $1680, but you're also the sort of person who would NOT do that if you knew that you could get it for $168!
